Description

NOW Borage Oil is an expeller-pressed, hexane-free nutritional oil with about 60% polyunsaturated fats and roughly twice the gamma linolenic acid (GLA) of evening primrose oil. GLA is an omega-6 essential fatty acid that the body can use more efficiently when it is supplied directly from the diet. Research has determined that borage oil does not have harmful levels of pyrrolizidine alkaloids (PAs).
