Our quality department is led by a team with over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical, food, and supplement manufacturing practices.

A legitimate quality program is not something created overnight. It is a fluid program that is perfected over time. Our long tenure in the industry is a testament to the strength of our team.

Our industry must follow federal laws for quality practices stated in 21 CFR Part 111. We have built our Standard Operating Procedures off of these regulations as a foundation while adding numerous steps that go above and beyond what is required.

Audit & Validation

Every vendor we work with for procuring our raw ingredients has been independently approved by our quality team, and must pass a number of checks and balances to meet our standards for validation.

Another advantage of our time spent in the industry is we have trusted partners, and know how to identify vendors of raw materials who are following the best practices, versus those who are not.

Third-Party Audits

As part of our ongoing commitment to going above and beyond, we regularly have ourselves audited by a third-party quality control team, and we send third parties to audit any manufacturing partners we work with.

Our approach to quality and product safety is always to be proactive, not reactive.

Raw Material Testing

An often skipped step in most quality programs, we start our testing at the raw material level.

Before any ingredients are ever mixed or put into a bottle, they are analyzed for quality, purity, potency, and contaminants like heavy metals, microbes, mold, yeast, and pesticides.

Finished Product Testing

Once a batch of products is completed, it is then tested again to ensure the manufacturing process is a success.

Finished products are tested for things like heavy metals, microbes, and contaminants to ensure nothing went wrong during manufacturing, as well as to ensure the product is meeting all of its label claims.

For example, if a product says it has 200 mg of caffeine, it is tested and validated for meeting that claim.

Heavy Metal Testing

Our raw materials and finished products are tested for the following heavy metals:

Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Arsenic

Pesticide & Herbicide Testing

Herbal and plant-based ingredients need to be tested for both pesticides and herbicides.

Rather than only relying on our suppliers, we periodically conduct additional third-party testing for multiple pesticides and herbicides, including:

Glyphosate, AMPA, Atrazine

Microbial Testing

Microbial testing is one of the most often skipped tests in the industry. Unfortunately, a contaminated product will only get worse with each passing day if it's released onto the market. Our raw materials and finished products are tested for:

Yeast, Mold, Staph, E. Coli, Salmonella

PDCAAs

A lesser known test that is thankfully starting to get the attention it deserves, all of our protein products have been tested for their true protein content using a test called PDCAAs.

The protein amounts on our label are the true, bioavailable protein content. This issue has been plaguing the industry with companies using protein types that are cheap and have no biological value to humans like gelatin, wheat protein, and collagen.

We work with numerous laboratory partners depending on the type of test we need completed and their availability. These include:
